Lonrix Ltd (http://www.lonrix.com/) is seeking a senior undergrad or a post-grad student who is skilled in writing clean code and is familiar with machine learning/computer vision techniques to work on a research project. This can be either as a final year/Master’s thesis project or as part of practical industrial R&D experience or a research internship for 4-6 months. Experienced mentors will guide the student throughout the project.
The goal is to develop models that use AI / Machine learning that would be able to identify road condition data and off-pavement assets from videos or images. The project involves working with software architects and engineers to integrate the developed learning pipeline with existing software and deploy to users using modern acceptance testing techniques and state-of-the-art continuous deployment pipelines.
Remuneration: Negotiable based on candidate proficiency but stipend will be sufficient to cover student living costs.
