PHP developer (creative/dynamic/international)

*What will you be doing
We are an international Corporation that develops online communities. Our SaaS solutions will belong to your main task areas. You will be responsible for the architecture, planning and development of their products. You will implement new features, find and fix bugs and optimize code.

• Polytechnical (HBO) or University level thinking;

• A client and solution focused mindset;

• A high degree of structure of your work and attention to detail;

• Good communication skills;

• Extensive experience with PHP5 , MySQL, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery and CSS3;

• Experience with PHP frameworks including CodeIgniter and Symfony;

• Experience with version control systems such as GIT;

• Experience with Linux servers , web servers , databases and MySQL servers;

• Ambition and ability to grow.

• English level of B2
  It’s very important that you have experience with/knowledge of CodeIgniter and/or Symfony!

*The salary will depend on your level of expertise: between Euro 2200-4500,- gross p/month, based on a full time (+/- 40-hour work week) indefinite contract.
*Support with relocation and paperwork will be arranged!

TECHNICAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Our client manages the delivery of projects for leading technical businesses across the Netherlands.

Your duties will focus on R&D or the extension of existing systems for the manufacturing industry. This may include industrial, traffic & transport, defence and telecoms projects. You will mainly be involved in software design conception, refinement and implementation. The development environments may vary from embedded Windows to Linux on a range of hardware platforms. Our preferred development methodology is Agile/Scrum.

These goals form part of the client international strategy, which will naturally provide many opportunities for committed school-leavers like yourself! If you choose a career in The Netherlands, you can into e.g. a Systems Engineer, Architect, Technical Team Lead or even the ultimate Specialist.

Candidate:

– a completed technical degree in (Technical) Computer Science, electrical engineering ormeasurement & control
– professional software development experience with C/C++ in embedded environments
– plus: experience in developing device drivers, boot loaders
– plus: knowledge of hardware and specific processors
– plus: knowledge of networking protocols and interfaces
– experience of implementing numerical algorithms
– experience of Windows and/or Unix/Linux development environments
– knowledge of software model design and simulation
