Our company is looking for a highly motivated Engineer interested in Data-Driven Projects for our European Center of Excellence in Valencia (Spain).

Are you the candidate we are looking for? 

What you will be doing:

  • Participate in large scale projects related to Data Management
  • Build Proof of Concepts and Prototypes related to the usage of cutting-edge technologies (Master Data Management, Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Science)
  • Research on best practices related to all aspects of data-driven projects and technologies like: Relational and No-SQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase), Data Integration (Informatica, Talent, MuleSoft, Kafka, Spark and many more), Data Science and Machine Learning (Python, R etc)

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Students and recent Graduates of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Interested in the Data Management field (basic knowledge of technologies related to Data Modeling, Data Integration / ETL, Data Science or Machine Learning)
  • Programming Skills and knowledge of algorithmics (mainly JAVA and Python)
  • A responsible and analytical person, good listener, attention to details and with interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Team player and with a proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and to travel occasionally

Oferta de empleo en Instituto Investigación Sanitaria La Fe

Durante la vigencia del proyecto, se desarrollarán las siguientes funciones:

– Apoyo en el diseño y desarrollo de bases de datos de los servidores del IIS La Fe.
– Apoyo en el diseño, desarrollo y soporte de las aplicaciones de escritorio y web de gestión interna del IIS La Fe.
– Apoyo en el mantenimiento de cms open source instalados en los Servidores del IIS La Fe.
– Apoyo en la realización de nuevas aplicaciones que surgan en el área informática.
– Apoyo en la gestión de la plataforma OpenClinca del IIS La Fe. La persona seleccionada quedará vinculada mediante un contrato laboral temporal con la Fundación para la investigación del Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe de la Comunitat Valenciana (IIS La Fe) por el periodo legal máximo que establece la normativa vigente para este tipo de contrato.

REQUISITOS
Titulación universitaria oficial de Grado en Informática, Al tratarse de un contrato en prácticas, no deben haber transcurrido más de cinco años, o de siete cuando el contrato se concierte con un trabajador con discapacidad, desde la terminación de los estudios.

Duración inicialmente prevista: 24 meses
