Programa de prácticas en Silicon Valley – «Jovenes con Futuro»

«Jóvenes con futuro» es un programa de prácticas de StepOne Ventures de 6 meses en startups de Silicon Valley (EEUU), diseñado para estudiantes de seleccionadas universidades españolas de Ingeniería del área TIC menores de 25 años, con buen nivel de inglés.

Se amplía el plazo de envío de CV y carta de motivación (ambos en inglés) a jóvenes@stepone.com hasta el 19 de marzo de 2012.

Hilti Fellowship awards in Liechtenstein

Hilti awards the most talented Master students in Information Systems (IS) from around the globe with a truly unique fellowship program: The Hilti Fellowship is a combination of practical training at Hilti and academic learning at the University of Liechtenstein.

1) Go abroad:  Spend five months in Liechtenstein for both project work at Hilti and your Master studies at the University.
2) Enter an internship: Hilti offers you the possibility to be part of an international project team in the field of global IT and Business Process Management.
3) Continue your Master studies: You will be appointed for a position in the international Master program in IT and Business Process Management at the University of Liechtenstein.

The selection follows a competitive international review and assessment process. The program also addresses students who will finish their Bachelor studies in the near future and plan to enter an international Master program the next winter term.

Proyectos Informáticos en la Central Nuclear de Cofrentes

El próximo jueves 15 de diciembre, asociado a la semana de la graduación 2011, la empresa Everis, una de las empresas patrocinadoras del evento,  imparte una charla en el salón de actos de la ETSINF a las 12:30.

La charla trata de los proyectos que Everis está realizando en la Central Nuclear de Cofrentes (CNC). Dichos proyectos han sido iniciados por el interés de la Central en renovar sus sistemas e infraestructura tecnológica. Dicha renovación se centra sobre todo las aplicaciones que tienen el área de Protección Radiológica, una de las más importantes de la Central, así mismo, lo primero que se hizo fue definir una plataforma tecnológica basada en tecnología Microsoft de forma que fuera escalable y donde se fueran integrando todos los sistemas de dicha área. Durante la conferencia se describirán los proyectos que se están llevando a cabo, haciendo especial relevancia en la arquitectura tecnológica que hemos desarrollado para dar cobertura a dichos proyectos.
