Actualmente nos encontramos inmersos en un Plan de Transformación Digital con el que buscamos agilizar al máximo la toma de decisiones, incrementando la eficiencia y agilidad de los procesos a través de datos de calidad, para seguir mejorando el servicio que damos a nuestros clientes y otros componentes de la compañía.

Se ofrece:

Contrato 20h de lunes a sábado

– Jornadas semanales de 5 días laborales garantizando 2 días de descanso

– Turno fijo de tarde

– Salario: retribución mensual bruta de 712€


Contrato 15h fines de semana

– La jornada laboral se distribuye entre el viernes y el sábado

– Salario: retribución mensual bruta de 534€

Requisitos

– Estar cursando Grado en Informática/Telecomunicaciones o similares

– Nivel alto en Ofimática

– Carné de conducir

– Valorable conocimiento alto en mecanografía

– Capacidad de comunicación y trabajo en equipo

– Pasión e interés por las nuevas tecnologías

Tareas

Atención a usuarios internos de Mercadona frente incidencias o consultas informáticas, ayudando a resolverlas en primer nivel o gestionando con los equipos especializados correspondientes.

El próximo viernes 29 de abril a las 8:30 en el aula 1E 2.3, Celia Lozano de la empresa Bosonit realiza la charla: Experiences With AI in a Smart Campus. An Investigation into Federated Learning, 0ptimizing, Forecasting… La charla se realiza dentro de la asignatura EDM del grado en Ciencia de Datos.

The Smart Campus is a Connected Campus, providing visibility of People, Places and Things, and an understanding of how they interact. Learn how your existing network can help Facilities and Faculties better understand how space and assets are utilised by staff and students. With real examples of how Universities are leveraging location for analytics and applications, this session examines not just what is possible, but what is actually being deployed today. Explore how the University wireless infrastructure can enable much more than just basic network connectivity, and instead deliver Insights and Experiences to change the way your staff works and your students learn. By using an IoT architecture which uses AI, machine learning, and next generation techiniques to improve use cases related, e.g. Federated Learning, optimizing, and Forecasting.

Celia Lozano

Hold +10 years of experience dealing with data, statistics and AI projects, firstly during my PhD studies of Statistical Physics at University of Navarra, later I got a Postdoctoral Max Planck Fellow at Intelligent System Institute in Germany. Since 5 years ago, I help companies to extract value from their data.

Currently, as Technical Lead, I manage a Team, envision strategies, develop new machine learning algorithms and apply my solid grasp of statistics. In addition, I collect, prepare, and analyze data, with the objective to solve business-related problems using data-driven techniques.

European Central Bank Scholarship for Women – Applications open on 4 May

The ECB Scholarship for Women is an initiative supporting female scholars from low income background in pursuing a Master’s degree in the field of economics, statistics, computing and engineering.

This year, the scholarship will be offered to 15 outstanding candidates who will:

  • Receive a grant of €10,000
  • Attend a study visit at the European Central Bank with dedicated activities, such as meeting with the ECB Women in Leadership Network
  • Gain insight into the ECB’s central banking and banking supervision functions
  • Meet fellow scholars and join the alumni community
  • Receive advice and mentoring from an ECB economist or expert in the field of banking supervision, statistics, engineering or information technology

To be considered eligible for the programme, the candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • A woman and a citizen of an EU Member State;
  • Currently enrolled, or are about to enroll, in a master’s course in economics, statistics, engineering or computing at a European university or business school;
  • Facing a funding gap that may prevent them from pursuing their studies;
  • Completed an undergraduate degree at an EU academic institution with excellent grades (i.e. for bachelor’s degree)
